Transportation/Burial of Dead bodies

No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for transportation of dead bodies to Pakistan or burial in Saudi Arabia are issued round the clock each day. These NOCs can be obtained from the Welfare Wing during working hours or from the Duty Official, who is always present (24 hours) at the Gate of Embassy of Pakistan, at any time after working hours. Following papers are required for obtaining said NOCs:

* Photocopy of valid Passport of deceased Pakistani. This condition is compulsory;

* Original/photocopy of Power of Attorney (if available);

* Photocopy of Police Report, in cases of accident/murder (if available);

* Photocopy of Medical Report (if available).

Transportation of Dead Body

For transportation of dead bodies to Pakistan, the legal heirs of the deceased can nominate someone in the Kingdom to take care of procedural matters. The Attorney has to submit an affidavit, which can be downloaded from the link below.

Burial of Dead Body

For burial of dead bodies in the Kingdom, the legal heirs of the deceased can nominate someone in the Kingdom to take care of procedural matters. The Power of Attorney in such cases is mandatory. The POA and affidavit for the attorney can be downloaded from the link below.
